Stud partition walls, dry-lining over stone and block, fire and acoustic boards.
A stud partition is the quickest way to make a room in a Maltese flat: metal track top and bottom, studs at centres, board both sides, insulation between if you want quiet. Maltese suppliers publish the metal — studs at €4.25 to €5.60 a length, track at €3.39 to €4.96 — and the board, and nobody publishes the labour, so it is quoted on site by the square metre.
Dry-lining is the same trade against an existing wall: board on a frame over limestone or block, with insulation behind it where the wall is external. Inside your own apartment neither needs the condominium's consent unless it touches a common part or the structure; the slab between floors is a common part shared equally by the two owners.
Quoted on site per square metre. The metal and board prices Maltese suppliers publish are given against each line so you can see what the material is; the labour is the rest.
| Job | Unit | Band | What is in it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stud partition wall | m² | quoted on site | studs €4.25–5.60 and track €3.39–4.96 a length plus board; labour quoted on site |
| Dry-lining an external wall | m² | quoted on site | quoted on site |
| Fire-rated board | m² | quoted on site | pink board is €17.60–18.26 a sheet; labour quoted on site |
A band, not a quote: the low end is a straightforward job with clear access, the high end is the same job with the complications a site visit finds. Materials are included where the line says so.
You deal with us, not with the trade. We measure, we quote a fixed price, we bring in a gypsum contractor from the CheckYourTraders-verified network, and we stand behind the work. One point of contact, one contract, one invoice.
